Porsche has just launched the new 997 Turbo Convertible, a 480 hp sports car. But for some of the guys who wants to experience the pleasure of driving at more than 400 km/h, like 9ff tuner, is never to soon to start working on your dream. This is why, 9ff has announced that they will unveil a high-performance tuning pack for the 997 Turbo Convertible.

The 9ff Turbo Convertible will use the same package used in the 911 Coupe and will also use some of the technology used in the kit for the Carrera GT.

9ff already made some test for a 650 hp Turbo Convertible and they reached a top speed of 350 km/h, so is believed that at more than 900 hp, the Convertible will go up to more than 400 km/h.

At 780 hp and 612 lbs-ft, the 9ff Turbo Convertible makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in less than 4 seconds, and only after 5 seconds it hits the 200 km/h mark. It has a top speed of 236 mph, the new convertible top speed world record.

The new 9ff GT9 is build with the intention of breaking the top speed record of the Bugatti Veyron.
