Built upon a Turbo platform, the TR 1000 is powered by a flat six boosted by a pair of larger turbochargers, upgraded intercooler, sport profile camshafts, titanium connecting rods, forged crankshaft, high flow sport air filter, revised ECU and a high performance exhaust system to produce a maximum output of 1000 HP and 767 lb-ft of torque. The result is a 911 that can sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in 3.2 seconds and reach a now proven 243.4 MPH on the test track which is esentialy an elongated oval with over two miles of straights going in either direction connected by two significantly banked turns.

That’s amazing, for just a short period, 911 made a record. Next target, “world’s fastest car”. It isn’t impossible. With that engine and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, they can make it happen.

I may say that Porsche is one of the best in terms of speedl. This is a great record, to reach the speed to 243.3 that entitled as the fastest car of all the 911 series. Good job but the hardest part of this is the price range of this car and as for me is quite reasonable for a Porsche with that performance.
