ABT AS7 TDI for the Scottish police

  news

You know what are the advantages of being a police officer? After catching the bad guys - especially those that have sweet rides - you can also use their, uhm...so-called ’assets’ like, say, a £40,000 Audi Q7 TDI tuned by Abt Sportsline. Once the car of a criminal gang from Glasgow is now being used as a patrol car. Yeah, we saw that coming.

According to Chief Constable John Neilson: "I would say to the criminals that what you have this week; your houses, your cars - you might not have next week. The hard working, law abiding citizens need to know that we are hurting those involved in serious and organized crime where it matters - their pockets. These criminals are fast realizing that they are not above the law. They may think that they are getting away with it, but we are determined to make a long-term impact in this area."

And as proof that Chief Constable Neilson talks the talk, check out that ’confiscated’ AS7 that’s been turned into a patrol vehicle. Looks good in its new digs, doesn’t it?

Luxury police cars are not practical enough, maybe they’re just boasting too much.

Compared to police departments wasting tax payers money buying lamborghinis or ferrari as service cars, this is something that police can actually use. I mean will you crash a Lambho when you are in a chase? Probably not.

luck for the sottish police department, they’ve given a chance to drive an ABT breed AS7, hopefully someday i can drive an ABT Breed car also.
