AC Schnitzer adds fun back into the BMW X1 with a few new wheel options

The BMW tuners at AC Schnitzer are at it again, this time adding a bit more fun into the German automaker’s smallest X-Series vehicle. While the aftermarket manufacturer has announced plans to come up with performance, suspension and even an appearance package for the baby Bimmer they have already come out with a lineup of new wheels for the compact CUV, sized anywhere from 18 to 20 inches in diameter the new rolling stock is guaranteed to add a healthy dose of fun back into your BMW X1.

Agility + Elegance = Fun. According to BMW, this formula forms the basis for the design of the new X1. The formula should certainly not be solved to X! Because it’s fine just as it is.

It’s no surprise that in its short life to date, the BMW X1 has won many plaudits and compliments, where the description "sharp multifunction tool" (Auto Zeitung No. 15/2009) best describes the stroke of genius achieved by BMW with the X1.

The amazing success of the smallest X model will be supported by extensive AC Schnitzer developments. We are working at full speed on performance upgrades, sports rear silencers and exhaust tailpipes, chassis optimisations, aerodynamic components and interior accessories.
