Alfa Romeo 149 will be built on a new platform

The future Alfa Romeo 149 will be built on a somewhat new platform that will be used in the future for other compact models. The platform, internally known as the "C-Evo" takes the chassis from Fiat Bravo and Lancia Delta and modifies it enough to be able to call it new. This platform will be use on all future segment C and D of the group, including the successor for the 159.
