If you remember, when Alfa Romeo announced the 8C Competizione they said the car will come in two versions: 250 coupes and 250 spiders. But when the company realized this will cost around 13 million dollars, they dropped the plans for the spider version.
But, according to Quattroroute, the 8C Spider will begin production at the end of next year. Like coupe variant, only 500 units will be produced.
The 2008 8C Spider will be priced at 180,000 euro ($245,250).
