An Early Preview Of The 2011 Toyota Highlander

  news

Toyota has confirmed that Russia and the Ukraine will be getting the Highlander crossover, according to AutoBlog. Why should we care about those places? Well, the new look Highlander that will be unveiled at the Moscow Motor Show on August 25 will most likely be the one that we’ll get as well.

The new Highlander looks pretty good compared to the dull design of the old model. The bodylines are pronounced and the conservative front fascia is gone, having been replaced by an aggressive looking nose with bits of chrome here and there. We have only seen the front of the vehicle since there aren’t any official photos of the rear, but we would expect that to have the same characteristics as well.

Toyota has not confirmed that we are getting this same machine, but we would imagine that it would look similar to what you see above. With only three places in the world building these vehicles, it would be hard to imagine different models for different countries.

That’s about all we know at the moment, but when we find out more we’ll pass the info along.

No doubt that Toyota Highlander earned a lot of appreciation when they launched its initial preview. This one has been a good start for the company since they’ve faced a lot of problems last year.

I wonder, why do they use different engine for this model. Well, its just a SUV its not supercar anyway! And it seems that this is not the original look. I hope this article was updated..

Well, I find it kind of impressive. I thought they will be using the same engine since it was the same model. Hmm. Now, I’m wondering who is the most powerful among the three production.

I think this car would be great just like the Toyota Prius! I’m hoping to read some more for this car.

hmm. Well, I think Toyota has follow the traditional look of SUV. And most probably the aesthetic of Crossover is huge and big. BTW, for a daily used car I think 100 hp is just enough.

Well, it looks like a typical face for a SUV. However, I don’t like the aesthetic of this car its kind of huge and heavy. I even doubt if this car a great handling..

When it comes to styling, i have to admit Highlander has an awesome detailing! However, that this SUV would be the possible competitor of Prius. I do hope that they come up with the same engine.

I agree with you billy71,  I think also that it’s somewhat similar with Santa Fe. I don’t know what is the credibility of the Toyota when it comes in making a Crossover.

Highlanders are dangerous to other drivers. Look at it too long and they’ll slip into a coma.
