Well that was quick.
Fresh off of Audi’s reveal of the 2012 A6 sedan artists are already making their own design renditions of what the new Audi RS6 is going to look like. The first one to publish his work is an artist from EDL Design, who proceeded to design a sportier and edgier looking vehicle than what Audi revealed yesterday.
Comparing the photos of the A6 Audi with the designer’s rendering, you could tell that the artist did his homework. The ride height has been lowered with the air intakes also coming close to the ground. The rims are also bigger, meaner, and more aggressive than the A6.
We don’t know exactly what Audi has in store for us with the new RS6, but at the very least, the rendering gives us a tinge of an idea as to what to expect from the folks over at Ingolstadt.
We’re still grasping for straws as it relates to what kind of powertrain the new RS6 is going to have. As comparisons go, though, the top-level A6 is slated to come with a 3.0 TFSI engine with 300 HP and 440 Nm of torque so we’ll put the cards out and say that expect something more powerful than that for the RS6.
