Aston Martin Rapide caught in white

After being caught wearing a black while sitting in a parking lot , the Aston Martin Rapide has been caught in the nude, and let us tell you that it looks even better in white! We will most definitely see the car in a more official setting, when the four door Aston Martin makes its debut in Frankfurt this September.

When it does hit the Auto Show circuit, the Rapide will be powered by the same 6.0 Liter V12 from the DB9 , the power plant will still make the exact same 470 HP and 443 lb-ft of torque as in the DB badged Aston Martin. The engine will be connected to one of Aston’s Touchtronic automated manual transmission, which provides all of the easy to use features of an ordinary automatic transmission with race car inspired paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel.

You can expect to see James Bond taking the kids to football practice in an upcoming 007 feature, with the bad guys driving a Porsche Panamera as they battle for four door sports car supremacy.

I guess, Rapide is beautiful. Doesn’t it look like the Aston Martin from the last bond movie, the Vanquish or something like that. If there is something similar with teh rivals. I guess Aston Martin like Porsche, focuses on Evolution and not on Revolution.

I’d still totally drive this thing though, it looks like a speed machine and definitely bond worthy. Looks like BMW got the nix from Casino Royale as well...a shame, the Z3 in Goldeneye helped sales quite a bit if I remember correctly.

Is it just me, or is every car that Austin Martin has released in the last 4 or 5 years been identical? Think about it, DB7, DB8, Vanquish, Vantage, and now this thing.

I cant stop staring at it, its just so beautiful. If I had to chose between this and a Panamera I would choose the Aston. Not that I will ever get to have that choice mind you, but this car is truly Aston!

That is true, you can see how this four door sportscar really spell the difference. Except that Bond is British and so as Aston, you know this car have all the advantage one would expect for a powerful four door.

As the Aston fans request, the white Rapide is not on sight! All that I can say is great job Aston......this car looks very good....unlike the Porsche Pamera which lacks the style. Know now why Bond had this in the movie instead of the Panamera, its pretty obvious.

Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez previously said, "The Rapide will exist in a class all of its own, a true Aston Martin with the high performance and dynamic excellence that defines the brand, and a luxurious sporting grand tourer without equal." I think he captured everything here what I would like to say about this car!
