One of the downsides of owning a high performance vehicle is that as soon as winter approaches and the mercury drops, those sticky summer tires become hard and brittle and don't work nearly as well as they did just a few months ago. Another issue with wearing your Sunday best while out playing in the snow is that every bit of salt and debris will do a number on your finely finished wheels. However the aftermarket manufacturer Cargraphic has come up with a combination to ensure that not only will your Aston Martin look as good as it can all year round, but owners won't have to compromise their car's level of grip either thanks to the combination of winter spec Cargraphic IS-ONE wheels and Dunlop Wintersport rubber for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB9->ke210 super sports cars.

Winter comes with its own dresscode and the typical Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 driver will head to Saville Row in London for a tailor-made set of shoes. The racier exponents of the brand, though, head to Cargraphic, in Germany, as the company has the one-piece, flow-formed IS-ONE ready and waiting for the cold.

The special manufacturing process guarantees the characteristics of a forged wheel. The blank is flattened out while hot and then shaped. The IS-ONE is 100 per cent made in Germany and comes with Cargraphic’s heritage and all the hallmarks of quality. Its elegant cross-beam design flatters the elegant lines of the V8 Vantage and DB9 perfectly, too, and underlines the sporting genes of the British brand.

So that Aston Martin driver can make a perfect impression even in winter the Cargraphic wheels are coated with a clear lacquer to protect against salt and the elements. The IS-ONE is available as a complete wheel and winter tyre combination in two different sizes. The first option includes 8.5x19” fronts and 9.5x19” rears fitted with Dunlop Wintersport M3 in 235/40R19 and 275/35R19. Alternatively the 9.5x19” fronts and 11.5x19” rears can be fitted with 255/35R19 and 295/30R19 Dunlop Wintersport 3D rubber. And just in case someone doesn’t want to swap back to their old rims after the winter, Cargraphic offers the design as a summer combination, too.
