First official image of the Audi A4 has surfaced online. With design cues inspired by the latest A5, the new model will make is official debut in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The base engine will be a 1.8L TFSI with an output of 160 hp, while the top of the line will be powered by a 3.2L V6 FSI engine with an output of 260 hp. Also available will be: 2.0, 2.7 and 3.0L diesels engines with output between 145 to 240 hp and a peak torque of 500 Nm.

I dunno. The A4 has long been a favourite of mine, but the blowing away that it gave me when I first saw it back in 1995 seems to be gone.
