Mercedes has the CLS, Volkswagen just unveiled the Passat CC, but what about Audi? Is time for them to have a word to say on the luxury four-door coupe market as well! And they will, starting 2009, when the brand will launch the Sportback version of the A5 Coupe. But this will be just the beginning: a Sportback version will also follow for the A7 in 2010 and for the A3 in 2011 The A5 Sportback will be based on the A4/A5 platform and will be a mix of the two: front of the A5 and middle of the A4, the wheelbase will be the same as for the A4, the width as the A5; length will be between coupe and sedan.
