Audi A8 to be powered by the R10’s V12 TDI engine?

Audi A8 is preparing an amazing version of A8 (probably called RS8). The new model will be powered by a 5.5 liter V12 engine with an maximum output of 550 hp and 811 lbs-ft of torque.

a limousine with these characteristics appears rather anachronistic (without limiter and with the long relationships it would become, probably, one partner of the club of the 400 timetables!). That does not remove that an equipped street car with a motor from winning race to the Mans is one proposed electrifying.
