The first to come will be a V8 version for the R8 Spyder. It will be powered by the same 420-hp, 4.2-liter V-8 engine and will go on sale in early 2011 at an estimated price of $135,000.
Later on, Audi will come with an even more sportier version. It will be inspired by the current R8 LMS and will include more carbon fiber parts to reduce weight and will deliver more power (somewhere in the same area as the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera ).
And finally, the current six-speed sequential R tronic gearbox will likely be replaced by a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
