Audi of America announced that the 2009 Q5 will be offered on the US market with only a 3.2-liter V6 FSI direct injection engine and a six-speed Tiptronic transmission.
The 3,2 liter engine delivers 270 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque. Powered by this engine the Q5 will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 6,8 seconds. the US market will also not receive the S tronic transmission.
Q5 will be the first Audi offering here with the Generation 3 MMI (Multi Media interface) and navigation with real-time traffic information. The U.S.-spec Audi Q5 goes on sale in the first quarter of 2009 as a 2009 model-year vehicle.
