The Audi R8->ke1440 has found itself in yet another blockbuster movie. At this point, we should just give it an Oscar and call it a day, right?

The R8 has been in so many movies over the past couple of years we're surprised we couldn't find an IMDB page for it. But in all seriousness, the German sports car->ke506 is a real action star and recently, it was revealed that Audi->ke14 has once again collaborated with Marvel Studios to include a fleet of its cars, including the R8 Spyder, in another superhero movie.

This time, the R8 is trading in Iron Man for Wolverine, a not too surprising turn of events given the car's proclivity for living life on the fast lane. But the R8 Spyder isn't the only Audi->ke14 that made an appearance in The Wolverine. Joining it - and making their respective cinematic debuts - are the Audi A8 L and the Ducati Diavel, which is now owned by Audi, by the way.

As far as the respective scenes where the R8 Spyder is in front of the cameras, well, that's something that we'll save for the actual movie. The Wolverine opens in the U.S. later this month on July 26th. Be sure to check it out because you never know, the R8 Spyder just might have its own mutant powers by movie's end.

Audi R8 Spyder

The topless version of Audi's amazing R8 supercar, the R8 Spyder takes the reigns of all things awesome in the coupe version and brings it to a whole new level, convertible style.

But of all the glowing things to talk about the R8 Spyder, none is more impressive than its powertrain. With a 5.3-liter V-10 engine under its hood, the R8 Spyder is capable of producing 525 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque, good enough to hit 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 194 mph.
