According to the Swedish magazine Auto Motor Sport, the future R8 V10 version will set a new Nurburgring lap record for production cars. The current one was claimed by the Corvette ZR1 with a time of under the 7:26. Next is the Nissan GT-R’s with 7:29 lap time. The Audi R8 V10 will be unveiled this October at the Paris Auto Show. It will be powered by a 525bhp 5.2litre V10 engine. It will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in less than 4.6 seconds and will top out at around 200mph. .
