audi r8 - official safety car of dtm series

The Audi R8 sports car will be used this week-end at the DTM race series as the official safety car. Also, a specially prepared R8 will be used as a racing taxi.

Of course that the modifications were minimal, according to Werner Frowein, managing director of quattro GmbH: "There were not many modifications required, though, because the R8 possesses the genes of a perfect sports car."
