Audi has finally decided to come out with the production version of the Audi A3 RS, and we won’t have to wait long to see it either. The small hatchback will be making its appearance at the end of September at the Paris Motor Show. It will also be joined by the concept version of the future Q3 SUV.
Unfortunately, we also come bearing some bad news; Audi will only be producing 2,700 units of the RS3. We still don’t know how many, if any, of those units will be making their way to our side of the Atlantic. Of course, Audi did give word that the A3 sedan would be coming over and they recently decided - yesterday - to bless us with the TT-RS, so we have some high hopes for the hatchback’s oversea venture!
The Audi RS3 will be powered by a 2.5 liter, 5-cylinder turbocharged engine, combining Audi’s proven Quattro all wheel drive system with a turbocharged five cylinder engine to produce a factory backed 335 HP. It is also rumored that the RS3 will get an all-new chassis.
