Audi unveiled last week the TT Clubsport Quattro Concept, and how the reactions to this concept were more than positive, now Audi is considering an exclusive small series limited to only 200 units. Ther are no info if the production version will have the same design of the Clubsport quattro.
The Clubsport quattro is powered by a supped-up version of the S3’s 265Hp 2.0TFSI that delivers 300Hp to all four wheels. Light alloy wheels have 20" in dimension, and are intended to help keep weight down. The brake system was upgraded to carbon ceramic brakes, while the transmission is the same S-tronic dual-clutch.
Thanks to a modified intake manifold, it has been possible to get even more power out of this highly efficient engine (which was “Engine of the Year” in its class in 2005 and 2006). Power is transferred to all four wheels, making the TT clubsport quattro the first new-generation TT with four-cylinder engine and quattro permanent four-wheel drive.
