Baby Maserati - new rendering

Maserati will first unveil the Spider version of the GranTurismo, but then, in the next 18-36 months we will also see a baby GT that will come to compete with lower-end Porsche models. Here is an exclusive rendering of the new, smaller Maserati.

The future sports model will be built in both coupe and roadster version in an attempt to boost annual sales to between 15,000 and 18,000 units. It will probably be priced between €80,000-100,000 (no word yet on U.S. pricing.)

It will be powered by the same 4.2-liter V8 engine from the GranTurismo, but it will make a smaller 350 hp.
