Bean set to make special appearance at the Goodwood Festival

We’re mentioning this because if you happen to be at the Goodwood Revival on September 18-20, you can catch Atkinson himself – in character as the bungling Mr. Bean, no less – at the Festival in his trusty old pea-green and black-hooded Issigonis-penned MINI.

As part of his appearance, Atkinson…err, Mr. Bean, will demonstrate his wicked MINI driving skills by driving the car while he’s sitting on the roof! In addition to his MINI antics, Atkinson will also lace up his driving shoes and participate in the All-MINI St. Mar’s Trophy saloon car race while driving – what else – a 1965 Austin MINI Cooper S.

It should be a fun weekend in its own right, but with Mr. Bean there to provide his usual histrionics, the Goodwood Festival has become a must-attend event for everyone.
