Bentley Arnage powered by Veyron engine in the works

  news

Bentley announced that the company is working on a prototype Arnage powered by a Bugatti Veyron’s 987bhp quad-turbo W16 engine.

At the moment we can’t tell if this prototype will ever go into production or what technology Bentley will use to make possible that a rear-drive car to have such a huge amount of power.

But a detuned version of the unit could make sense in a production Arnage, and would create one of the most sought-after special edition British cars ever made.

The current Arnage is powered by a 6.75 V8 engine with an output of 500 hp.

It’s been quite some time now and I don’t think that I have seen such car just yet. Anyways, I don’t think that its just the Veyron engine that makes them fast but the car as a whole so I don’t think that a Bentley Arnage would be as fast as a Veyron even if it has an engine of it inside of its hood.

yes I wonder how they gonna keep this on the road.. finally there might be a real Flying Spur smiley lol

seriously they might bring the engine but without the turbo and sophisticated engine heads or something like that.. That would be cool to have the bugatti engine, even if it doesn’t have the 1000 HP, no ?
