After Bentley revealed the higher performance Speed versions of the Continental GT and the Flying Spur, it is now focusing its attention on the remaining car, the convertible. CAR caught the Continental GTC Speed testing at the Nurburgring.
The GTC Speed will use the same technology as any other Speed model: a 6.0-liter V12 upgraded to 600bhp, revised radiator and air intakes, new exhaust pipes and unique 20in multi-spoke alloys. With 50 hp extra power the GTC Speed will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in around 4.5sec and will hit a top speed of 200mph. Production versions should be available by next year.
