It looks like Bentley ->ke15 has some big plans for the next six years, or so. Along with the new SUV that is penciled in to arrive in 2015, the new-generation for the Continental ->ke3108 and the new Mulsanne ->ke3495 lineup, the company also talking about a new, four-door coupe that will target models like BMW M6->ke208 Gran Coupe and Mercedes CLS->ke53963 AMG.

The new Bentley is penciled in for 2018 as either a standalone model or as part of the Continental family. The new model will be similar in size to the Continental GT, and it will sit on Volkswagen->ke94 Group's MSB platform, which will see its first assignment under the next Porsche Panamera->ke1840 that will arrive in 2015.

This new platform will also be used for all the upcoming Bentley models -- Mulsanne, Continental and the new baby-Bentley -- and it has the advantage of making the cars lighter, and accommodating a wide array of engines, ranging from a base four-cylinder and to the mighty W-12.

If this new four-door coupe makes its way onto the market, buyers can expect a price ranging from €125k ($169k) to €150k ($200k).

BMW M6 Gran Coupe

Just like with the coupe and convertible versions, the M6 Gran Coupe is powered by a 4.4 liter, V-8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology that delivers a total of 560 horsepower between 6,000 and 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 502 pound-feet between 1,500 and 5,750 rpm. It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and up to a top speed of 189 mph, when the M Driver Package is installed.

Mercedes CLS63 AMG

The CLS 63 AMG comes in with a 5.5-liter, bi-turbo V-8 engine that delivers a total of 525 horsepower and 515 pound-feet of torque. When the client opts for the AMG Performance Package, these figures increase to 557 horsepower and 589 pound-feet. It zips to 60 mph between 4.3 and 4.4 seconds, depending on whether it has the AMG Performance Package or not. The top speed of both engine variants is 155 mph (electronically limited).
