The newest video from Bentley features the build of the Bentley Mulsanne into a more complete vehicle. This video offers us another insight into the hand craftsmanship, technology, and modern, precision manufacturing that goes into building Bentley->ke15’s flagship sedan. The Mulsanne is now six weeks into production and Gary Webster, Mulsanne Production Manager, narrates the build as the car begins to take shape.

“Working on the Mulsanne requires an array of skills that goes well beyond just the accurate fitment of the parts. The way you move around the exterior and interior of the Mulsanne is critical because materials like the highly-polished brightware, veneers and leather need such careful handling.

A range of made-to-order protective shields are fitted to the car and our team has an in-depth understanding of the best places to apply pressure. Every member of the build team is respectful of the value and importance of the car they’re making.”

After watching the video, you are sure to have a deeper appreciation for building a car like the Bentley Mulsanne. Every little detail is sought after and every little aspect is covered as over 2,000 checks are made to ensure everything was done correctly. When the car reaches the end of the production line, it will be ready to get fueled up and rigorously tested on the road test areas. The final inspection occurs when all of the employees involved in the build come together for one final round of inspections. Now that’s detail-oriented.
