Bertone Mantide - limited to 10 units, $2million each

The latest unique coach-built creation was revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show, the Bertone Mantide based on the underpinnings of a Corvette ZR1, designed by the same guy that envisioned the Ferrari P4/5 when he was at Pininfarina. The Mantide will be limited to only 10 units, and a hefty price tag of $2 Million.

According to Jason Castriota, that guy from the Ferrari, and design director for project M: "The project has an anonymous benefactor, but it is in fact for sale either as a singular example, or with the possibility of building an extremely limited series. Though we would not rule out producing as many as 10."

Bertone, the studio responsible for the wild design has already lined up a few potential clients from Asia, Europe and America.

$2 Million for Mantide? Well, for sure there are ready buyers for this aerodynamic high performance car, as suspected it will only come out in few numbers.

I think this Mantide can even out do its predecessor. With 10 examples coming out and with the price of $2 Million of course this car is only for the few select.

I think Stile Bertone Mantide could actually tune of beloved Bugatti Veyrone and let us see if there is something more fashionable that they can do to the high-priced beauty. Although of course it is only our wishful thinking.

You are right there pal! if you dont have that millions even if you don’t like its side or rear front angle design, where is nothing you can do. This call will surely sells like hot cakes for those who wants it.

I am thinking if Betone will do it with Veyrone? This Jason Castriota’s Design is most hated most criticized yet most priced. Well, whether you love it or hate it, there just one true thing about it—you can’t have it you don’t have $2 Million and if you are not one of the first ten to have the 10 examples.

This insect inspired ZR1 is means millions for those whose taste is so exquisitely refined for more exotic concept.

Just ten unit to go out on production? That makes this car really really expensive as those who have millions to spend for one car know what they want—limited and exclusive, high end technology in a cutting edge design made just for the select few. Mantide is the car made for these type of people.

2M for the project M. Well this Mantide insect looking Corvette ZR1 is surely a new sensation as it showcases high class artistry with high end engineering.
