BMW Coupe Concept rendered

Just last Friday, Top Speed reported about a couple of spy photographers that caught a strange looking BMW Concept that at the time was believed to be the long waited electric concept for Frankfurt Motor Show. However BMW has denied that it was the upcoming show car, and instead some old design study being brought to storage. The good news is that at the same time the German automaker denied the speculation, they did confirm that they would be bringing a concept to Frankfurt.

According to the latest information, the upcoming BMW concept will be a four-door coupe based on the mid size 5-Series luxury sedan with a design inspired by the muscular CS Concept from 2007. The production version of the new Bimmer will compete head to head with other passenger cars like the Mercedes Benz CLS, Audi A7 and Volkswagen Passat CC.
