While the next generation BMW 6-Series->ke320 has been caught frequently testing at Nurburgring, details on a more powerful version are scarce. However, a member of the Bimmerboost Forums photoshopped the next M6 and the result is quite impressive.

With design clearly inspired by the Concept Gran Coupe, the next M6 will feature an aggressive rear bumper, aerodynamic side skirts, front fender vents, and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Under the hood there will be the same Twin Turbo V8 delivering a total of 578 HP and 530 pound-feed of torque.

Compared to the previous M5->ke2922 and M6->ke208 models, the M6 will be lighter by about 100 lbs and will feature a lower center of gravity for better handling plus a carbon roof.

Historically speaking, we know the next M6 is coming. The M-series has been quite popular since its debut with the M3->ke2366 back in May 1972 and since then has multiplied into different models, each with a money-making and award-winning pricetag. BMW may say there isn't a market for a next generation M6 currently, but we all know that will change. It always does. If only we could get BMW to confirm it.
