BMW planning Z2 Roadster for 2010?

According to Autobild, BMW is planning a Z2 roadster for 2010 to compete with the new entries Audi TT, Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky.

The new Z2 will have a four-cylinder engine that will deliver arround 300 hp. Auto Bild says that if it will be built, the Z2 will be shorter and skinnier than the Z4, with a distinctive styling.

The small roadster is conceived as formally completely independent car. Between the style elements of the Z2 Autobild says it will feature wheel arches, with extremely short overhangs, unusually sharp edged at the upper conclusion, with strong introductions between front and rear axle, with relatively steep windshield and the high tail, in which a 150 litre small trunk hides itself.
