One has to love teaser photos and car companies are usually happy to fill our need. BMW has been happy to indulge us with photos of a new model that is fit for U.S consumption. Details on the new model are few and far between, but the company did say that it would release full details on Thursday. It’s hard to imagine what this new model will be. There are a few M logos throughout the cabin and that leads us to believe that this new car will be a bit more powerful than its brethren and since there is an America-only 335is already in the works, another powerful 3-Series doesn’t make much sense. The transmission looks to be a double-clutch, but it’s still unclear if that will be the only option. The biggest question of all though is what kind of monster will live under the hood. Will it be a tweaked version of the V8 that is in the M3 or will BMW make tweaks elsewhere? We also are waiting to find out if the car will be a sedan, coupe, or convertible. Come back in a week or so for more details. .
7 comments: BMW releases teaser of America-only model Well, from the looks of things, I guess it has a dual-clutch cog box at play, though it’s unclear if that will be the only option. Also, I’m expecting V8 found in the M3 or whether it will leave it alone and instead make other upgrades.
I like that frozen Grey. It reminds me of the car on a cold morning, looking all sharp with no reflections on the surface.
