First spy photographers caught the X6 hybrid testing, and now its time for the X5 Hybrid! It was caught testing in the California desert.
The first time you heard about a X5 hybrid was this year’s Geneva Auto Show where BMW revealed the X5 Hybrid concept using a twin-turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel.
This latest spy shots prove that BMW is preparing a production version for that concept.
Engine photos display a variety of wires and high-voltage compartments that hide most of the X5 hybrid’s gas engine.
