As previously announced, Nissan and Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) will unveil a special edition 370Z in order to celebrate the 40 years since the Z came out as the Datsun 240Z that was sold in Japan. The Datsun 240Z (known as the Fairlady Z) came out in the U.S. later that same year and then Nissan unveiled what we know as the Nissan 370Z in 1970. Forty years later, the anniversary car was born and it made its debut on April 29, 2010 at a special BRE Reunion dinner at the Classic Motorsports Mitty at Road Atlanta. Nissan is still holding out on us with the details of this elusive vehicle, but we do have the first images of the finished car to hold us over until the main course of the specifications follow.
The BRE 370Z was built to current SCCA T2 racecar regulations and will see track duty later this year.
