Bugatti and Bentley building Rolls Royce competitor?

Maybe there really is an economic slowdown if companies like Bugatti are going budget-minded. Well, budget minded for the ultra-exclusive supercar maker means stooping to the level of Rolls-Royce. Bugatti, in cooperation with its sister brand Bentley, may be teaming up to create a sedan knock-out punch to Bentley’s direct competitor. Could this be the long-rumored Bugatti sedan?

But don’t worry, Bugatti is not going completely down-market. Future plans still call for aVeyron replacement in 2012. This car is promised to be meaner, more powerful and faster than the current 1001 hp supercar.
