Bugatti Launches Dynamic Driving Experience in North America

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse

Customers of the Bugatti Veyron in North America are in for a treat, as if having the capabilities to buy one of the most expensive cars in the world isn’t good enough.

If you happen to be a prospective customer of Bugatti and you’re in line to buy one of its multi-million-dollar supercars , the French automaker will give you a chance to take one of its own out for a spin. And by "one of its own", we mean the world’s fastest convertible, the mighty Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse .

The recently-launched Bugatti Dynamic Drive Experience allows you to see whether you made the right decision in signing up for a Veyron and while we can’t imagine a reason for somebody to renege on their interest after driving the car, the Dynamic Drive Experience is the perfect way for prospective owners to find out if they could handle the heat of owning one of the world’s fastest, most powerful, and most expensive supercars.

The first Dynamic Drive Experience was recently held in Las Vegas with Bugatti indicating that more stops in cities across the U.S. and Canada are being planned.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse holds the distinction for being the fastest serially produced convertible in history. It’s hard to believe Bugatti can keep raising the ante to ridiculous heights with the Veyron, but it always seem to get the job done.

The Grand Sport Vitesse is no different because it packs a walloping W-16 engine that produces 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to hit 62 mph in 2.6 seconds to go with a top speed of 255 mph.

And in case there’s any confusion on what "Vitesse" means, it translates to "speed" in English.

Press Release

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse "Jean Bugatti" Edition

Bugatti has launched the ultimate test drive program in North America. Bugatti’s "Dynamic Drive Experience" is designed to engage ultra-high net worth individuals and enthusiasts of exclusive super sports cars with the brand by providing an unforgettable day behind the wheel of a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse, the world’s fastest production roadster.

Bugatti invites qualified prospects to participate in the "Dynamic Drive Experience" which features both challenging road courses and high-speed driving on closed roads and airport runways, where the driver can experience the full range of dynamic capabilities of the super sports car. Each participant is accompanied by an official Bugatti Test Pilot to customize the experience and to also provide a comprehensive overview of the car.

"Driving a Bugatti is an incredible experience. It is the most powerful and fastest production car in the world and is outstanding in terms of driving dynamics but also in terms of usability", said Dr. Stefan Brungs, Member of the Board of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. "We modeled this new event format that is centered around driving the 1200 horsepower Vitesse on the greatest roads in America with the opportunity to fully experience the car both on windy road courses and at high speeds on long straightaways."

When the guests are not driving, they enjoy five-star hospitality and opportunities to network with other participants in the program. The individual groups are small-sized to create a personal and exclusive experience. Bugatti’s "Flying Doctors" are also present to talk about the ownership experience and explain what they could expect from Bugatti’s personal concierge as an owner.

Following the first dynamic drive experience in Las Vegas in November, the French luxury brand plans to execute a total of four events annually in the U.S. and Canada. Each will be held at the most exclusive properties in North America in cities that are conducive to great driving roads and stretches of highway or runways that allow high-speed driving. Safety is a top priority so Bugatti works in tandem with the Highway Patrol as well as regional highway safety agencies. The next event is scheduled to take place in early 2014 in the Southwestern United States.
