A few weeks ago we reported that Bugatti was preparing a new model that would develop around 1200 HP. Well, we were somewhat wrong. Apparently, the model that will be delivering that killer horsepower is not a new model, but a more powerful version of the current Veyron. It will be called the Supersport and will rev the horsepower race to a whole new level. With a total output of 1200 HP and a weight reduction of 300 kilos, the new Veyron Supersport will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 2.2 seconds and will be able to hit a top speed of 264 mph. There will only be 30 units built and, as you might have guessed, it will cost more than the Bugatti Veyron. Its official debut is expected to be made in September at the Paris Auto Show. So after that, expect 30 very fast cars to be parading their way quickly around our streets. .

 Impressive car as powerful as the Bugatti Veyron which can do a great many things. It seems the 1,200-horsepower "super Veyron." is arriving and it been anticipated for years, and now accounts from Germany are bringing it back to life.
 Only 30 units? I bet this is a first come first serve basis with those number most of that will be given to the middle east.
 A whooping 1200 HP under the hood. This is another record breaking in terms of speed. I hope it’s special tires can still hold that kind of friction and heat.
 The sad thing is, SSC could beat that with their current car. The only reason they didn’t already is when they tested they had very limited road to accelerate. And then they came out with the 1287hp version. And I highly doubt 200hp will be able to make it go 10mph faster. And that 2.2s 0-60 is a fat lie, that isn’t possible unless on drag radials. And like Uncia said FIX THE HANDLING. It handles like a turd.
