By now, everybody that follows the auto industry knows that Bugatti->ke16 is preparing the wickedest version of its Veyron->ke1112 supercar to date.

It's been dubbed the SuperVeyron and insiders have described it as "a fantasy in terms of its performance". That being said, Autocar is reporting that the SuperVeyron will be priced at a staggering £5 million, which is about $7.7 million based on current exchange rates.

In any language, that price tag is beyond ridiculous.

However, for those with the financial wherewithal to make such a purchase, they can take comfort knowing that they spent their money on a car that will put just about every other supercar->ke177 in this world to absolute shame.

It's not every day that Bugatti can wax hyperbole, given that the Veyron is already considered one of the fastest and most powerful supercars in the world. But anytime you can outdo even that with a supremely limited edition that's fixing to shatter records left and right, then there's really no such thing as exaggerated claims.

Bugatti SuperVeyron

The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is considered the fastest and most powerful Veyron in the market today, as it is capable of hitting 268 mph once its legs are fully stretched. But even with the insane numbers the Veyron Super Sport can produce, the highly anticipated SuperVeyron won't have any problems eclipsing any of it.

For one, the extensive use of carbon fiber on the SuperVeyron means that it could end up slashing its weight by up to 440 pounds, tipping the scales at about 3,700 pounds. Combine that with the expected output of 1,500 horsepower and you have a car that could potentially hit at least - AT LEAST - 280 mph.
