After the CTS->ke1200, ATS->ke3619, and XTS->ke3488, it looks like Cadillac->ke18 is preparing to expand its line-up even further with the addition of a new model. According to Car And Driver, General Motors has filled a trademark application for the LTS name with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office this month.

While no other details have been provided, it looks like the long-rumored RWD flagship sedan will finally become a reality. It is also very possible that the LTS name will be used for a new concept vehicle, but we're putting our bets on the company's new sedan that will be built on GM's new rear-wheel drive platform.

It is also believed that the LTS name will be used for a new XTS replacement that would be positioned between the BMW 5-Series->ke317 and 7-Series->ke323, but we will find out in the upcoming months which model will finally get the LTS name.
