The Carlsson SL CK63 RS debuted last year at the Essen Motor Show, but not until today has the German tuning company revealed its official specifications. The first thing that catches your eye is the car’s black matte finish, then you notice the improvements in aerodynamics. Consisting of a re-designed front bumper, new side sills, a rear boot spoiler and a new rear bumper with an upgraded diffuser with integrated exhaust cutouts.
Carlsson also fitted a new braking system along with a new set of 20 inch wheels fitted with Dunlop SP SportMaxx high performance tires.
The interior is even more refined then what you would come to expect from a Mercedes. The Germans use the finest leather to upholster the seats and the highest quality varnish and carbon-fiber accessories.
Under the hood, the V8 engine was boosted to an impressive 600 hp and 705 Nm of torque. Up from 525 horsepower and 630 Nm in the standard SL 63 AMG. All this force propels the German vehicle to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds while the top speed is limited to 202 mph.
Price: €272,500 (about $350,000 at current rates)
