Dinan's S3 stroker kit gives the BMW M5 and M6 628 race proven horsepower

The American tuner Dinan has become known as the premier BMW tuning shop here in the U.S. They have built a reputation for high horsepower reliability with a lineup of supercharger applications for a host of BMWs, however over the past few years, Dinan has been having a go at building high output race engines for Daytona Prototype race cars that compete in the Rolex Grand Am series of endurance events. Their latest work of art in motion is the Dinan S3 kit for both the BMW M5 and M6 that includes both exterior and engine upgrades.

Using what they have leaned on the race track, Dinan increased the high revving power plant’s displacement from an even 5.0 Liters all the way up to 5.7 Liters. With the help of a reprogrammed ECU Dinan is able to extract an amazing 628 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque from the reworked V10. The result is a full size premium sorts car that will rip from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.8 seconds. Dinan is also offering a free flowing exhaust to handle the added spent gasses, a shorter 3.91:1 limited slip differential for enhanced acceleration and even power distribution across the rear axle as well as Stage 3 suspension setup to keep the plus sized Bimmer planted and a Dinan/Brembo big brake conversion behind a set of 19 inch lightweight Dinan alloys to ensure that the M will both stop and look as good as it goes.

Woah! Is that true? Reprogramming the engine control unit and to release a power output like that. That’s magnificent to force a ECU to abduct a horse power of 628. I like their fuel efficiency service but I think for an advance auto shop, the cost of every package were that expensive.

That’s cool. I thought M5 will be a trash for BMW and yet you gave that a power that is so incredible and kinda shocking. That Dinan is quite amazing on this field of tuning and I’m looking for new tune-up cars on them, props on this one.
