Dodge may have shown the next-generation Charger in a t-shirt

Who would’ve thought that in a world of spy photos and teaser shots, you’re going to find the first image of a new vehicle – in this case, the next-generation Dodge Charger in, of all things, a t-shirt.

The scene was the Mopar Nationals at the National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio last weekend. In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the event caught the attention of auto scribes because of something that was printed on the T-shirts that were being given out during the weekend. It might take a closer look at the tee, but once you scan the printed graphic on it, you might notice the rear end – the distinct rear light bar, to be more specific - of a car that looks suspiciously like a Dodge Charger.

Nobody knows who was behind the graphic design of the shirt, but given that it was in fact included with the rest of the regulars at Mopar gives credence to the growing rumor that the new Dodge Charger may very well inching closer and closer to reality.

Well, I think this t-shirt is significant because it will be served as a memorabilia for the said event.

Plus all the lines from the t-shirt drawing matches what we know of the car so far; check out the greenhouse, the rear spoiler, the shoulder line, the outer taillights, etc. They are identical to what we’ve seen.

Also at least FOR NOW the design separates the new Chargers from cop cars, and that is something I feel is very necessary to continue selling any units of this model.

I would have expected more, 3000gt’s weigh a lot more have fewer hp and get the same/similar 0-60 times... then again they are also awd.

At this point, I’m going to put my foot down and say, no. That’s not it. The drawing looks good and that’s about it.

The rear of the current Challenger is absolutely awesome. One of the best if not the best rear of any car being made today IMO. If they can do an adaptation of that rear for the Charger, it will be a real looker. The rear of the current Charger is one of the car’s weakest spots.

Woah! That Plymouth’s spoiler is really tall, is it use for drag?.
