Dodge Viper might see end of its life

And when I am thinking what for, I simply feel like going crazy. To be honest, saving the Sebring, Avenger and Sebring Convertible - cars that actually no one cares about - and kill the only supercar the American market produce is not a wise decision. But, when again, I am just really upset about it!

Chrsyler decided that the interiors of its models are too cheap and they will redesigned them by 2010. Let’s be honest, if you launched a car last year and already thinking about a facelift, do you call that a success?

"We call it ’the Sebring problem.’ That vehicle is dying on the vine and it’s only a year old. They got cheap on everybody and said ’the customer doesn’t mind hard plastic and ugly grain [in the cabin]."

Chrysler is moving resources away from other vehicles to fix the Sebring, Avenger and Sebring Convertible, which originally were scheduled for a redesign in 2011 or later. The 300 will also see a major revision in he 2011 model year.

And, as a conclusion Chrysler is prepared to "make an instantaneous decision" to discontinue the Viper, especially if it "no longer can deliver the desired halo effect."
