A good story seems incomplete without a background tale of how things got to where they stand in the present. That’s how it’s always been because without looking at where you came from, people won’t understand how you got here. In the case of the Corvette Racing Team, that history goes all the way back to where it all began 50 years ago at Le Mans. In the fifth episode of the the CRT’s "Track to Street" series, we take a behind-the-scenes look at the history of the team, complete with a detailed chronicle of the Corvette’s evolution, in addition to a number of interviews given by key personalities involved with the team - both past and present - including legendary drivers Dick Thompson and Dick Guldstrand and current team Ambassador, Ron Fellows. It’s, by far, our favorite episode of the "Track to Street" series and is something that we strongly recommend as a must-watch episode. .

I like that Chevy hasn’t put the Corvette on the chopping block (*looks at Dodge Viper*), every car company should have a car which is the pinnacle of their RnD/engineering....granted, the corvette with its leaf springs is pretty distant from "pinnacle", you get the idea.
 Hey America! Take a look! Pay attention. There is more to racing than Nascar! Corvette is a re known marque across the big pond in racing circles.
 The last race was both of their car had crashed on the pit stop.. leaving the car number 2 running with damaged tires and body.
