F-line from Lexus

Lexus went for F-series, as his in-house tuner, and the first car how will get this designation will be the IS.

The IS sedan will be equipped with a 5.0-liter V-8 engine producing 425-hp at 5800rpm and 405 lbs.-ft. of torque at 3800.The curb weight of nearly 3715 lbs will be a advantaje for the IS in front of the Audi RS4, wich has a plus of 200-lb.

The new sedan will be called the IS-F, will debut at the Detroit auto show in January, and will go on sale in December 2007 for a price of 50,000$. This will be folowed by other vehicles from Lexus, like the GS-F sedan and IS-F coupe.

Brembo will be the brake supplier, and Yamaha is said to tune up the engine for more power.
Toyota Motor Co. alredy patented a trademark for "IS-F" and also the trademark for a stylized "F" logo.
