Ferrari 458 Italia online configurator

Shortly after debuting the all new 458 Italia to the world, Ferrari has launched an online configurator for their newest sports car. The web site allows you to custom tailor your berlinetta with options like metallic colors, nonmetallic colors, classic colors from the 1950s and 1960s as well as an infinite assortment of special ordered shades. New car shoppers can choose from either the standard 20 inch painted wheels or the sleeker forged sport rims.

The interior can be configured in almost as many combinations as the special order paint with options like two tone leather that covers every surface from the dashboard to the headliner all with offered with optional contrast stitching. Amongst the more ridiculous offerings from Maranello is the option of standard, leather and Alcantara headliners as well as upholstery; and optional Alcantara corpeting for the trunk and door mounted armrest. About the only thing that isn’t being offered in Alcantara is the matching luggage.

If we had things our way, the Top Speed 458 Italia would be covered in Argento Nurburgring metallic paint with the lightweight forged sport rims and Rosso Corsa brake calipers underneath. Of course we would have to opt for the fender mounted Scuderia shields, the ultimate in Ferrari bling, however we will admit that e went a little wild with the black on red interior, but the stitching is exquisite.
