Just a few days ago, FCA dropped the pricing layout for the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider, which were similar to that of the Mazda MX-5.->ke1185 Now, it looks like Fiat->ke30 has taken things a step farther and finally added the 124 Spider to its online configurator, next to different variations of the 2015 and 2016 Fiat 500.->ke1708 As of the time of this writing, the 124 Spider is the only 2017 model that can configured online.

Loading up the configurator gives us the option to choose between three different styles: Classica, Lusso, and Elaborazione Abarth. The starting price is set at $24,995, $27,495, and $28,195, respectively. Once you choose your trim, your next option is to choose your powertrain. At this time, there is just one – the 1.4-liter four-cylinder that delivers 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Moving over to the colors and interiors department, each trim level comes with its own set of colors to choose from.

For the interior, the Classica is offered with only the standard cloth seats. The Lusso trim gets leather-trimmed seats with the option of black or brown colorations. The Abarth, however, comes standard with black leather/microfiber sport seats, but can be optioned with two-tone leather seats for no cost. Upgrading to the Alcantara Leather Recaro seats adds $1,195 to the Abarth’s $28,195 ticket price.

As far as packages go, the Lusso is offered with a technology package that will set you back $1,295. The Lusso can be had with the Premium Collection that costs $3,795 and a Safety and Comfort Collection that goes for $1,495. The Abarth version is offered with the Luxury Collection for $3,995 and the Safety and Comfort Collection for $1,495. The only other options available for any trim level comes in the form of Brembo four-wheel performance brakes, and an AISIN six-speed automatic transmission, which are only available on the Abarth for an extra $1,495 and $1,350, respectively.

Why it Matters

It’s pretty cool to see that Fiat has finally added the 124 Spider to its online configurator. When I configured my 124, I chose the Abarth trim with a Rosso Red exterior paint, Nero Black interior, and Alcantara Leather Recaro Seats. I chose to include the Comfort and Safety Package and the Brembo brake package as well. All told, 124 would set me back a total of $33,375, which isn’t all that bad. As you can see from my pictures, the interior doesn’t look bad either. So, go ahead, and hit up the configurator here. Then, once you’re done, post an image of your configured 124 in the comments below.
