Fifth Gear crew involved in serious crash

  news

Sometimes accidents happen high performance machines are pushed to their limits. Recently such an incident occurred in England. A popular television star, John Barrowman, was filming a slot for the English automotive program Fifth Gear when he and co-driver Tiff Needell were involved in a very serious crash in which their rally prepped Subaru went end over end multiple times before paramedics pulled Barrowman and Needell out, and removed shattered glass from Barrowman’s eye before he was taken to hospital.

The £120,000 Impreza slid down a verge, flipped four times and almost went into a lake at the bottom of the hill, luckily both of the television stars survived the crash suffering only minor cuts and bruises.

I’d say an S13 would take corners better with a stock suspension. The only problem would be its power deficit but then given the eibachs and the SR20 spooling 300+rwhp in your S13, the Mustang doesn’t stand a chance. LOL!

HAha. Mustangs and sharp corners do not go together. Those guys were probably trying to copy the American drifting dude who uses a Mustang. Morons.

i saw a wreck similar to this last night where two guys in an ’03 mustang tried to drift around a sharp corner on a country backroad, their tires dipped off the pavement and the car rolled three times and ended up upside down in the ditch. luckily the guys are ok. they crawled out on their on thru the back window.
