The first 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 was delivers today to Big Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Van Nuys in California. It’s owner: Jay Leno! Jay Leno comes to the dealership, signs the papers and then leaves with new Challenger. When he turned the keys of its brand new Challenger all the people around hold their breath. After all, not every day you have the chance to see the first Challenger in the world deliver to a real car guy. And in case you still need it, the Challenger SRT8 is powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 engine that delivers 425 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with AutoStick. It makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in lest than 5 seconds and the 0-100-0 mph in under 17 seconds. .

 Automatic gearbox? What does that imply exactly? Muscle car fans can’t handle manuals? Take this to the weekly drag and youll be the laughing stock of crowd among those purists.
