Jay Leno comes to the dealership, signs the papers and then leaves with new Challenger. When he turned the keys of its brand new Challenger all the people around hold their breath. And in case you still need it, the Challenger SRT8 is powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 engine that delivers 425 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with AutoStick. It makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in lest than 5 seconds and the 0-100-0 mph in under 17 seconds.
