Now that Porsche->ke1 has officially unveiled the new generation Cayenne, they have also slipped out some of the first images and details on the Sport Package that will be offered for the S version starting April 2011. The package carries a small price tag of $3,000.

The package will include larger wheel arches, body-colored door moldings, new trim on the lower body in body color, an added roof spoiler, and quad tailpipes. We anticipate a few changes in the interior followed by a new set of wheels, but no word has been given on what those changes may be.

The standard version is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine with an output of 300hp. The diesel one gets a 240 bhp, 405 lb-ft 3-liter V6 engine while the S version gets a 4.8-liter V8 with 400 hp. The top version of the Cayenne, the Turbo, is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 biturbo with an impressive 500 hp. In the USA, the S version is priced at $63,700. So, if you opt for a Cayenne S with the Sport Package - get those calculators out - the prices will start at $66.7K.
