The 2013 Koenigsegg Agera R made its official debut earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show and now, a few months after the Quail and the McCall Motorworks Revival during the Pebble Beach weekend, the car has officially landed on the American market.

Christian von Koenigsegg->ke43 welcomed many of the company's current American clients, as well as many new ones, and he was pleased to inform everyone that the Agera->ke3628 R was given a warm welcome in the US.

The bad news about this scenario is the price tag. On the US market, the Agera R is priced at an impressive $1.5 million, but can get even more ridiculous considering Koenigsegg's new bespoke personalization service. For the money, customers will get a supercar powered by a 5.0-liter V8 with twin turbos that delivers an impressive 1,115 HP. The car will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and up to an impressive top speed of 273 mph.
